MOZART in a MODERN Style

MOZART MODERN is proud to present a series of re-interpretations of timeless music modernized by a team of versatile contemporary pop producers and classical musicians. Mozart Modern is something for all to enjoy.

The first album in the series, Café Mozart, brings you a whole new take on Mozart, merging various musical influences such as symphonic, latin, tango, middle eastern and pop as well as many others. Mozart can now be enjoyed by a whole new generation of listeners by taking his timeless and familiar favorites and presenting them in a cutting-edge contemporary light, without compromising W. A.’s pure sound.

The producers Bob Parr and Boris Berlin draw from their production toolbox to instill these re-inventions with a wide eclectic mix of sounds and styles, including non-traditional ensembles and solo improvisation. The accessible “coffeehouse style” incorporates accordion, piano, strings, clarinet, guitar, ethnic percussion, and well as more modern sounds such as synthesizers and electro grooves.

Available as a limited 2-disc deluxe edition in the stylish digipak fold-out format, this album makes a tasteful present and a lifestyle statement on a coffee table.

Other composers will be part of the continuing series of treatments in the Mozart Modern signature style. Stay tuned for more in the series!

The record captures the essence of how Mozart’s great melodies - the “hits” of their time - were enjoyed outside the elitism of the concert hall: in coffee houses and on the street, on various instruments outside the original orchestrations.
